I'll always remember the time I was riding Poor Farm and you came jogging by - some cuts and scratches - I asked what happened and you told be you bent a rim and thought you'd just run - I thought then, better man than me - I'd of called it a day and gone home - I love the way you pick yourself up and carry on - I think of you when I ride and look forward to running into you again -

Kirk, It's Nancy, your cousin from Hopewell, Va. I am so happy that you and Clay are now living the apartment life. I love reading your entries. Even though I don't write often, I think about you guys daily and hope that you continue to get used to your new surroundings. I read about the wonderfully successful cycle-a-thon this past week-end. That's great! I'm getting ready to email your dad right now. Keep your stories coming. Best of everything to you and Clay and of course Bella da dawg. Until next time, Nancy

Kirk- We have been following your story and keeping you and your family and Bella in our prayers. Each day has brought new achievement and it has been heartwarming to follow it on caring bridge. We are on your team here in Richmond!!

Kirk- I don't think we've ever met, I just read about your journey on 303 Cycling. As somebody else who lives in Boulder and loves to ride mountain bikes, I just wanted to help in some small way. I wish you the best of luck in meeting whatever the future holds. Hell, isn't that what we all need?
