Chase Treadway

Southeast Spinal Cord Injury Fund
Covington, LA

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I’m writing on behalf of my son, Chase Treadway, who suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury last year only months after his 24th birthday.

Chase grew up in the military where I served as an Air Force pilot.  After nearly a dozen moves and schools, he’d launched out on his own and was traveling extensively for his organization working with students at colleges around the southeast.  His injury has left him a quadriplegic with no sensation or movement below the chest and limited use of his arms.

I cannot express how proud I am of my son.  I know he must start each day having to first realize that it wasn’t a nightmare.  Yet he spends his time inspiring those around him with his spirit and strength.  I knew Chase was a good man, but I didn’t know how brave he is.

There is equipment to strengthen his body and modifications to our home and vehicle that would make a huge difference in his life; and for those I humbly ask your help.

A fundraising campaign has been established in Chase’s honor through the Catastrophic Injury Program of the HelpHOPELive.  HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization assisting the transplant and spinal cord injury community for over 25 years.  It provides fiscal accountability and contributions are tax deductible and are administered for uninsured injury related expenses only.
