Flor Felix, wife of Francisco Felix of the NTAF Southwest Liver Transplant Fund, appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann last night to speak out about the devastating budget cuts to Arizona's Medicaid program recently enacted by Governor Jan Brewer (R-Ariz.)
Francisco Felix is one of the nearly 100 Arizonans affected by the state cuts, which eliminate coverage of some transplants. Felix and his family were featured on Countdown Friday, November 19, 2010, with another Arizona patient Randall Shepherd of the NTAF Southwest Heart Transplant Fund .
Since Friday's airing through Tuesday, November 23, 2010, more than $82,000 has been contributed to NTAF in honor of Felix and Shepherd. Amazing!
