Budget cuts to Arizona's state Medicaid program eliminate coverage of some lifesaving transplants. Nearly 100 Arizonans are affected. According to recent media reports, two patients have died as a result.
Forced to fundraise for life, literally - five families affected by the cuts have sought the help of NTAF.

Thanks to national media coverage - scroll to view news beginning with a report from NPR on 11/17/10 - more than $230,000 has been contributed to NTAF campaigns in their honor; however additional financial support is urgently needed for these patients to even have a chance to be listed for transplant.
