Thanks to Astellas Pharma US for generous support of NTAF Programs

NTAF gratefully thanks Astellas Pharma US, Inc. for generous support of our programs and services this year. Three grants totaling $73,000 made it possible for us to help more patients than ever.

• A $35,000 charitable contribution to our Emergency Medical Grant program made it possible to help 63 patients afford items such as medication, co-pays, travel to medical treatment, and post-transplant housing close to medical care.
• A $20,000 educational grant helped support organ donor awareness education through patient fundraising events; and
• An $18,000 educational grant underwrote three issues of New Start News, helping us reach out nationwide to patients and professionals.
