Thanks to Astellas Pharma US for generous support of our Emergency Medical Grants!

NTAF gratefully thanks Astellas Pharma US for generous support of our Emergency Medical Grant program. A $35,000 charitable contribution from Astellas has made it possible for us to help 63 patients afford items such as medical co-pays, travel to medical treatment, post-transplant housing close to medical care.

The Emergency Medical Fund is intended for patients with a limited need or medical crisis where fundraising is impractical. The fund aims to help patients pay for expenses that are time-limited with a clearly defined cost, such as medication, gaps in Medicare coverage, relocation for medical care or other emergency situations.

Thank you once again to Astellas for helping NTAF provide a financial safety net for the most desperate of patients.
