Each week Help Hope Live writes more than 200 checks to cover patient expenses.
Once Help Hope Live has received a completed application demonstrating medical and financial need and funds have been raised, the patient or an approved support person can submit for payment or reimbursement of uninsured medical and related expenses. Simply fill out and submit a Fund Request Form along with proof of expenses (bills, receipts) and we will respond to your request the week it's received.
Of course, each patient's needs vary based on his or her medical issue. For example, many patients who are dealing with paralysis after a catastrophic injury need to make renovations to their homes or find new transportation options. Many may be unable to work. Patients who need a transplant may need to travel to specialized treatment centers or even relocate for an extended period of time. Many may need to pay out-of-pocket fees for medications.
